[Vwdiesel] T or H tires

When I was exploring tire options for one of my cars
(don't remember which now...) I posted a similar
question on one of these lists.
The factory specifies a certain speed rating on the
car because it is capable of doing that speed.
You may never think you are going to drive your car
120 mph for instance, but you never know what may
happen. What if you loan the car to a buddy and he
drives it that fast? Or what if your wife or a loved
one breaks their arm and the bone is popping out?
I know I'd drive as fast as I could, and I'd want my
tires to stay together, just in case.
If I were you, I probably wouldn't go out and replace
good tires. However, if I were shopping for new tires
anyway, I'd certainly buy ones with the proper speed
rating.
My $.02 US
