[Vwdiesel] Looking for a block

Folks,

Thanks for all your suggestions, once home, and upon further inspection...It
appears I tossed a connecting rod through the block. (which took off the
water pump...)

Anybody know of a source for a 1.6NA engine in the midwest? (I'm in central
Iowa) I've already checked local sources...my one possiblilty went to the
crusher last month.  It'd be a shame to junk this car...its in reasonable
shape otherwise.
