I did the disabled on the cold start valve as shown in the manual. I cant do anything on it today but I will tomarrow morning. I am confident I will be able to find these and get the proper adjustment. I have a complete VW 2.4L NA sitting out so Ill find it on there first. Ill let you know how it comes out. Thanks everyone.

You have two options. One is to loosen the 4 bolts as Andrew described.
You'll need a LONG allen on a drive socket I do believe for one of them
though. The other option is to loosen the bolt on the back of the cam
and move that pulley/gear ever so slightly until you get it right. I've done

it both ways. The cam bolt method works with no difficulty loosening
the pump but it takes several tries to get it right.
Did you loosen the pull cable link thingy for the automatic timing
advance? It will still be all in vain if you don't.
Dang that seems like a "slow" timiing setting.
