Reading further into this info from electricity distribution Co. Apparently
mineral oil supplied from refinery for insulators (or at least used by elec
for insulators comes with up to 35 parts per million water... So graphing
those results in my head tells me there is some serious drop-out of water
liable at winter temperatures. Most corrosion is then done by the
'separated' water..
I can only surmise that if that oil is that wet when supplied to elec
Co's... then whats the stuff like sold to the public?
I wonder how much water in cannola?
