[Vwdiesel] Citric Acid

James-

I know it is a little late...

But I am currently in the middle of replacing the core
in my Corrado.

It would only get lukewarm last winter, and I was
tired of that.

The real reason I'm replacing the core, however, is
because I had to disassemble the dash anyway. The
cause of my lack of heated air is that the foam on the
air dirver flaps had all rotted off, so cold air was
mixing with the warm.

You may find that flushing the core won't do much
good. Have you noticed bits of foam blowing on you
when you are using the heater/AC?
