is nice JA ?---but BUT being on the GIVING end ?  Ja  --a thousand fold nicer.?  ---bet

OK so you lost the Hummer to the repo man   and your Job to China and your house to the
Eminent Domain gang ?---your medical CEO gets 230 million per year in pay ?   while you
are getting SCREWED ?  ---  Time to get back to BASICS.?

Lets face it --your wife's Brother  IS a real nice person---and he said  you can have my
OLD Rabbit Diesel for FREE ?  --- HAGAR say  grab the Brass Ring.---OK she smokes ?
right -----but you can handle it ? Ja ?----- Why ?   because the average Amerikan Boy
knows more about Pistons and Rings and what not than anybody in the WORLD   ---read my 73
year old lips.    ----BUT he knows  twiddle diddle nothing about DIESEL.
The Gap from Diesel to Gas ?  --minuscule --say I. ( about a couple of years --if you are
SMART ).
So you did the Nozzles and the Valves and Timing ? and she still smokes ? ----take a close
look at the AUTOMATIC   injection advance .----NOTHING is more problematic to a NEWBIE
than that.
It is Hydraulic and difficult to test. --BUT here are the BASICS.--IP  two to one gearing
to crank ?  very important info.----Why ?   because 10 degrees advance on pump is 20
degrees on crank ? How to test advance ?   ---read Hillbilly TUNING.----IT must work to
perfection or she will smoke ---NO matter what at full output.----And you may quote
me. ----At 5000 RPM it is "about"  20 degrees.
Yes I know that Mark Shepherd will be on my Butt--saying what if pump advances 20 degrees
at 4000 RPM ?----answer ? do not worry if fueling is set LOW.---BUT get on your knees and
say Thank You LORD:

I have NEVER heard of a situation where  advance ---works better than it is supposed to
do.---BUT do not rule it out . PO may have installed a weaker spring.----so TEST and
verify.---got it ?

PS :    the Germans ( krauts) are SMART so they color code the springs ----my 1.5L
springs  ?   Pale Green.
