[Vwdiesel] Water Pump Leak

The pump itself is cheap-less than $20 (be sure to get the cast impeller and 
not the stamped steel version).  The pump with the pump housing attached is 
more.  Probably $40+.  The issue with getting just the pump is that often the 
bolts break of when trying to seperate the two halves.  After breaking off 
several bolts when trying to swap the pump, I ended up buying the whole assembly.  
Just for fun I undid the two halves before installingit.  They had used 
loctite on all of the bolts on the new assembly.  Job security?  Anyway, I removed 
them cleaned the bolts and reinstalled using anti-sieze.  I had no leaks after 
70,000 miles when I sold the car, and if anyone ever wanted to seperate the 
halves of the pump they could probably do so without breaking bolts.
