[Vwdiesel] 25000 mile update on 04 Passat TDI

In the latest in my series of updates on my 04 Passat TDI, I thought  
I would pass on these figures:
Total Miles driven to date:  25798
Total fuel used:  877.1 gallons
Average MPG:  29.4
High MPG: 42
Low MPG: 24 (towing)
It is important to remember that this car serves two purposes for me,  
one it is my wife's primary car and as such is driven only around 800  
miles per month, second it is my primary tow vehicle for my camping  
trailer (one was 1400 lbs, my current trailer is 1700 lbs).  In fact,  
approximately 8000 miles of the total was with a trailer attached to  
the car.  I am overall very pleased with the car and it has only been  
in the shop about 3 times all for minor things.  If I had it to do  
all over again; I would.  Hayden

Vans (5 - 3 splitties, 2 bay window), Rabbits (3), Karmen Ghia (1),  
Jettas (5), Passat (1), Dasher (1), New Beetle (1), and Rabbit  
Pickups (3) most now gone but not forgotten.
