[Vwdiesel] Steps for changing out heater core / fan for '81 Rabbit with A/C

Hi all,
     Did a quick check and not seeing the above in the archives.  Anyone
have a quick list of steps to do the above?  Now that it's in the 20's-30's
here in Kansas I'm thinking I need to look into the heat with the rabbit.
When I move the heat selector towards the hot, I smell anti-freeze.  Haven't
seen A/F on the floor yet, but something is leaking.  Gonna pull stuff and
check on it tonight, then order what I need tomorrow.  Thanks,
