[Vwdiesel] boost

Are those boost pressures correct?
I don't have an EGT gage, (kicking myself in the butt that I didn't do it
when I had the exhaust manifold off) :-(.



  Sounds about right.  I welded a coupling onto the downpipe right below
the steering rack.  If you think about exhaust flow rates and such, I
doubt it's more than 5F cooler there than right out of the turbine, if even
that.

...Bite the bullit and drill the manifold. Less variables to worry about.
A Miser-made glowplug-thermocouple design would be the ultimate
meltdown/injector fault detector...
