[Vwdiesel] Doyt's door problems

On the A2 Jetta, it was challenging to say the least. There are screws
along the bottom of the door panel, and I couldn't get these out, so the
chance of wrecking the door panel escalated to the point I decided to break
things more easily obtainable. The latch was mostly closed off from the
inside, but I really had to exert force on the latch paddle to get it to
open, more than I would have been able to exert while doing gymnastics in
the rear seat around a half removed door panel, and numerous sharp bits of
tin all hungry for blood.

Then you can see the top of the latch with the little paddle
that you have to fuss with.

Surely with the interior panel off you can reach the paddle anyway? Or is
it just the 'Q' ... How else do we acess the one handle screw (remember
thereis also the screw in the door edge too...
