[Vwdiesel] questions about re-using stretched bolts

  Well, usually if they're used they're stretched.  If they're not used then 
you could tell by looking at the threads and the kinda sticky anti rust 
stuff that's usually on them instead of clean and dry or light oil.  Even 
if light oil on them  it's different than motor oil.  
  Only sure way to tell if it's been stretched would be to have a new, 
"standard" bolt to compare length to.  I think I've sold a few sets 
here for <$1.50/bolt.  Some for close to $1/bolt but I lost a little on 
that part of the transaction.
