Good to know. With fuel cost being so high, alternative fuels are becomming more interesting. I am three quarters through my first tank of WVO/diesel mix.
So far, so good. Power is actually better than straight diesel or even straight #2 oil. I will know mileage at the end of tank. Starts good with a bit more clattering till warm. Smells like French fries.

It totally lacks any lubricating qualities, low on power, smokes like the
devil. It is very much not fuel oil for a diesel. Black market fuel was
killing a lot of pumps and engines.  Don't equate smoke with power
necessarily.

  It's a good, reasonable octane booster when put in gas. :-) (real similar
to toluene.)
