[Vwdiesel] no heater core on recall

  Well that sucks!  You can do it for about $50 or $60.  Just the cost 
of the heater core and maybe some foam backed tape.  If the heater 
core is plugged internally then the symptoms would be the same.  If 
it covered with crud also.  I don't know how bad foam would cause it 
to not heat.  It could make it less than optimal but it shouldn't be any 
BIG difference.  THey can be done quickly.  I did the A/C box but not 
the heater.
