[Vwdiesel] Coolant Leak at Cylinder Head Flange, 1.9L NA engine

I have a 1.9TD in my Westfalia and replaced the plastic flange with the 
old metal one as I needed the temp sender to go with my VDO water 
temperature gauge.  When I removed the plastic one it had started to go 
oval shaped and I have heard that they eventually leak or crack.  The 
metal flange uses a gasket while the plastic one uses an o-ring.  It 
seems that the only gasket that VW sells does not quite line up 
properly so you will have to enlarge the bolt holes.
