[Vwdiesel] Cyl head issues

Yabbut, where do you get a bottoming tap for a helicoil that size?
That may be harder to find than the helicoil...

Were the injectors ( the stripped thread one in particular) hard to remove?
ie not hand tight after a couple of turns?
If so then there was probably a buildup ofcarbon on the threads which
helped to strip this one partially on removal. ... Finished off on
retightening :o(
Thus you may not have a cracked head and a helicoil would be fine
