And here it is :    I need help from the flyboys on this one ---please try to find the
diagram in Sport Aviation of a DIY  ---Magneto Synchronizer--- NEVER did I make a DIY
electrical device so handy  in all my years of fiddling around.---That one thing
completely revolutionized my trouble shooting techniques.--here is a basic
escription.  ---Two   NE-51 bulbs  --Two small output transformers from Tube (Valve)
radios   one small doorbell buzzer---a battery ---and test leads.----So why is it so good
?  ---It will test diodes and SCR's still connected in the circuits.-- A 90 Amp alternator
coil can not be measured with a normal Ohm Meter. I will post a picture of mine if  Shawn
Wright will post it on his site.Then all of you can get the benefit.

Why is this so important ?  --with a 6 diode rectifier ---a loss of one will lower the
output of the alternator ---BUT it still works --just to fool you.--

The diagram can be found in EAA's Sport Aviation ---1964  to 1974 era.-----Please help me
find it.
