Sandy,
That is totally new to me.
Thinking about it, I would hate to have a point in the cooling system,
where there is a "constriction" in a location such as the cylinder head.
Perhaps I'm just to risk adverse.
The last couple of head gaskets I put on have not had this "feature".
The most recent was my 91NA this summer, also with a Victor Reinz
gasket. Still have the packaging on the shelf...
