[Vwdiesel] Front end noise

Sandy,

I have not ruled out the rear bearings.  Your mentioning this makes me 
vaguely remember something not quite right when starting this car moving
after it was jacked up. I thought it might be a dragging shoe.  Now it'll
have to be investigated.  This problem is definitely turn sensitive, and 
not torque sensitive, which leans me more towards a bearing issue.

Telegraphic bearings.  The next thing will be a webcam inside the drums...

Guys, keep the ideas coming, because it isn't fixed yet.  And I'm 
very open to ideas...
