[Vwdiesel] Oil question

We get -40C every year and 10-30 and a block heater works fine. The van
lives out all year and never put the block heater on more than a few hours.
Getting IN the van is sometimes a bit of a problem and the gears feel a bit
tight for the first few kms. But I've never heard of anyone around here
draining the oil etc... even on the tractors.

We got snow on the ground now for the last week...  I guess winter is
coming...
