[Vwdiesel] feeler for A1 power steering rack/pump/hoses

Well I am deep into getting the TDI engine ready to go into the Caddy  
but I have run into a problem.  I had hoped to drive the water pump  
with the serpentine belt and eliminate the power steering pump.   
However, that doesn't seem to be possible.  So, does anyone have the  
entire power steering set up from an A1?  I have an almost new   
(literally less than 3 months old) manual rack with tie rods that I  
might be willing to trade.  I cannot send or receive messages from  
the VWpickup list anymore because of Verizon, so I would appreciate  
it if someone would forward this to that list.  thanks, Hayden
