[Vwdiesel] Instrumentation (diesel or otherwise)

I'm at present juggling with my gauges and using various options of mk1 and
mk2  Quantum/Jetta displays I find I have created 2 extra gauge spaces; so
I'm thinking of callibrating them for new 'in house' functions.
 Has anyone else gone down this path?
 I'm thinking of perhaps a suppressed zero Voltmeter and oil pressure.
 A bit complicated to do a centre scale ammeter; but if I applied a little
more grey stuff; the solution would pop out...
Any pointers (LOL) anyone? Or are you all glued to the TV...
