[Vwdiesel] 2001 Beetle timing belt

Good evening folks,  My wife has a 2001 New Beetle automatic and it has 42,000 miles.  I am willing to do this job if I can find or rent the needed tools.  If I do the extended life timing belt and tensioner, it would seem that I might not live long enough to do this again.  We drive it about 5k a year.  Does anyone in the Seattle area have these tools for rent?  Or can any of you send me in the direction of a good auto repair person in the Seattle area?
