I run brass radiator in my '82 diesel. It was made by Modine and the big advantage is that they can be repaired and modified
as needed, since they are soldered instead of being crimped like the aluminum/plastic ones are. I had mine re-fitted with a
3-row core a few years ago for more cooling capacity. The only drawback with them is that there is a bit less efficiency with
them, aluminum is a better conductor of heat and lighter. But that said, going from 2-rows to 3-rows gives a much bigger delta
in heat rejection than a few percent better coefficient of heat conductivity does.
