For what it takes to check like Loren said. I would do that and clean the
system and keep an eye on it.

  The good news is that since you JUST got the car it could be residual 
oil from a previous leaking head gasket.  On the other hand, the oil 
leakage part is only a small area of the head gasket, ONE small area. 
It could easily be leaking with very little or sometimes no cylinder 
leakage.
  Pull the cap and watch the stream going back into the reservoir.  If it's 
solid then give flushing things out and washing the tank a try and refill.  
If the stream spurts with just above a fast idle then you most likely do 
have a head gasket going.  
  Heads often are warped a smidge and a VERY light trueing is best.  
They don't often crack detrimentally but you'll likely find cracks between 
some of the valves.  That is very common.
