Where are you located? I live in Seattle, and I always rent the valve
adjustment stuff from a place called Bow-Wow Auto Parts (or AutoVice)
in Lynnwood, WA. They rent you a shim kit and all the necessary
factory tools for something like $5 or $10 a day, then you pay for
whatever shims you use from the kit. Does the trick for me.
