You need more than the bellhousing. First of all, the 1.9 wasserboxer bellhousing is the same bolt pattern as the air-cooled 1.2/1.3/1.5/1.6/1.7/`.8/2.0 and so on, so it is no different from what you have already. On top of that, the Type I/III transaxle does not have a removeable bellhousing. You need to squeeze a Type II transaxle between the frame horns, and use a DIESEL T3 (Type II) bellhousing to get the right bolt pattern for an inline watercooled VW. The halfshafts (.....oh yeat, you need to use an IRS floorpan if your car is '68 or earlier) bolt right up.
