Who's there...
Nicolas...
This is the first vwfans I've seen since the president forwarded my post for
info
(thank you Mr president...)
Hey Loren, why don't you just give it up.... nothing is worth bugging your
wife about...
If everyone promises to be good...

Nothing blocking that I'm aware of nor that I can do anything with.
Perhaps if someone wants to pay me to sit here all day and run
stuff through as soon as it comes in then I can make it as timely
as it was before. Time lag you're having is I'm in bed. ;-) I also
have a job of sorts so I do my best to chase everything through
as quickly as possible even to the disgruntling of my wife. I was
gone for the weekend and had no internet access so it made for
a delay in postings. Sorry 'bout that everyone.

Sounds like "bad" wheel bearings were your problem. The Jetta
clacked like a bad CV joint ever since I got it. When I replaced an
obvously bad wheel bearing the noise went away! Go figure! CV
boots are cheap. If you're going to drive the car then it's a lot
cheaper than geting stranded from a broken CV or replacing it to
keep the car going.

Pedal will always pump up when the car is off since the booster is losing
vacuum when you do that and you're fighting the spring. If while running, a
couple of slightly spaced pumps brings it up then your rear shoes are at
their adjustment limit or the adjusters aren't working. If it pumps up a
tad
and then sinks back down with constant pressure then it's likely your master
cylinder, or a major leak, which you'd see. :-)
