  All the 4 cylinder Audis (4K's that weren't 5+5's and such) had 
basically the same thing as a Dasher transmission.

  IF it's the same as a K then the DO make a higher ratio one 
for the 5K diesel.  
  Normal ratio on a 5K is 3.45.  I have an old brochure where 
"economy" (price that is) 3.73 and 3.91 ratios are available 
and the TD (RC and RDS) ratio is a 3.08. 86 -88 gas turbo 
"RDU" tranny is 3.08.  The 84 - 85 (RDE) is a 3.25 as is a 
mid 87 to 88 gas RDX tranny.
  They do list torque converters for 5K turbo, 925 adn 944 
as the same price and on the same line.  Would imply they're 
the same.  No listing of 924 ratios other than same for all years.
