  Yes you do
  Maybe
  It's possible but it'd be a 1.5
I have a list but it's not on the web, or maybe it is... Roger might
have a copy of it on his site.
1.15mm
  You won't, it's worn off.
Ok, long answer. ;-) You do have a yellow dot pump by the number.
They didn't necessarily only come on earlier cars but tended to here
anyway. I thing I've heard of other geographical locations that had
several on '81's but any engine earlier than an '81 would be a 1.5
instead of a 1;6 with 11mm head bolts.
The "yellow dot" was more like a splotch of wrecking yard yellow
or "sealing paint" brushed on the roundish timing advance cover
that is on the visible side of the pump. They all wore off years ago
unless there's a garaged one with 40K miles on it sittin somewhere.
I looked and whaddaya know, I DO have my pump list up!

Back in the 55mph days mine ran great timed at 1.05mm but
once the limit was ilfted I went with the Bentley numbers over the
VW shop stated numbers and it put the torque a hundred rpm or
two higher. (1.15mm)
In my opinion every car I've driven with one on it has had noticeably
better low end performance than with the other pumps. :-) Similar to
a gas Rabbit up to 30mph!
