No Lupo or 3 cylinder TDI's in Canada, well,not yet anyway.
working on that.

There are quite a few Benz "Smart" cars running around here (SK).  They 
hardly seem appropriate for the distance and miles we have to traverse 
however. A bit more wheelbase would make things more comfortable over 
more travel time I would think.  The one I saw navigating slick ice this 
winter was having trouble maintaining a straight path, so methinks the 
wheelbase thing, while making for a quaint car, is just too short to be 
practical for much other than running around town/ dry pavement.  It 
could have just been a matter of driver skill, but the thing sure 
swapped ends quickly enough on ice.  I figured if it hit a patch of dry 
pavement when broadside, it would still be tumbling.
