[Vwdiesel] Need a 1.6NA tb cover

After looking at the ETKA again, it appears I might have the right cover, but
am missing the bracket for the mounting hole nearest the alternator (a piece
of U shaped metal with 3 bolt holes on "fingers"). What confuses me is there
seems to be an area of belt left expose where the cover has a notch in the
lower left part. Is this normal?
