HI Justin;
	I have a progressive 2 barrel Weber that you might be interested in.
It came off a Porsche 914 that had a 1700 cc engine. It has an electric
choke. I don't know much about it but the numbers on the carb are 32/36 D
32A 9A the casting numbers on the carb barrels are 26 and 27 It doesn't look
like it was used very long. I want 100 dollars for the carb plus 20 dollars
to pack it and deliver it to UPS or the PO

Subject: [Vwdiesel] Gasser carb

Does anyone on the list have a serviceable 2 barrel carb off of a 70's
vw gasser? The 75 'Roc that I had sported a 2 barrel Holley/Weber, but
had a Zenith originally, I think. This is an attempt to get my 88
Samurai running w/o the troublesome computer managed carb that is stock
on it. Offers of any other small 2 barrel carbs will be entertained. I
know some people that have used the carbs found on 70 vintage Mazadas,
Toyotas, and other Japanese cars. Also know of at least on guy that
used a Holley Bug Spray. There is a Weber option, but I am not willing
to pay the money that is being asked for that conversion on an engine
that will be replaced sometime in the future with a 1.9 VW diesel. Just
need something to get thru the next couple of hunting seasons.
Justin
