Trickery
When the oil pan has been pushed in, how likely is damage

Not likely.
Damage to the oil pump pickup is highly likely- bendage.
Be sure to check pickup clearance to pan after straightening stuff out.
Put some stiff mud (or plasticine, play-doh etc) in a baggie and tape it
to the pickup. smoosh the pan on and measure the clearance on the mud.
get it around a half inch.
The damage appears to be in the center in line with the

Depends.
If it has funny round grooves worn in it from the whirly bits on the
crankshaft trying to push the pan away, no.
Just a single kink, yes.
