Wow, that is being patiant and persistant. Good job,
I would have thought the steal bolt in aluminum
housing without the proper anti-seeze would get you
for sure. Another, not so good design idea by VW for
sure. I feel it promoted the sale a new water pumps.
Why couldn't by have put a bigger stud in there, say
13mm bolt, or larger studd and nut. I always lube the
small bolts up good before putting them back in.
