[Vwdiesel] 1.6TD block core heater location, is center plug hole OK?

I'm pretty sure that the heater is in the center (of
3, right?) plug on both my 1.6 NA and 1.8 G60 Corrado
engines, so there seems to be enough room inside the
block for the heater.
