[Vwdiesel] Engine/transmission mounting problem

  I vaguely remember encountering a similar problem and it seems 
that somehow the engine/tranny just wasn't in the right place.  It took 
loosening the mounting bolts or removing a couple, jostling the whole 
thing around until it fell in corrrectly.  That may have been when I had 
the front (or right) motor mount in upside down but I don't think so.  I 
remember it mounting up but it was way out of whack somehow.  It'd 
bolt up but did take a little prying.  Just fell into place after doing it 
over.
