[Vwdiesel] solar auto chargers for travel use and of course happy holidays

  Having been playing with a small semi-grid tie system 
for the last year...
  Since Thanksgiving I've generated 12.5 AH iirc.  May have 
been 16.5 but that's not much .  That's with 4 110W Evergreen 
panels in series and parallel for a pair of 110W @ 24V.  In the 
summer with a breeze, they'll do around 10AH per hour or more.
  This time of year you'd need at least a couple panels that size 
it would seem to me.  In summer one would be plenty sufficient.  
  I have one of the small, VW solar panels for charging.  It's a fair 
size as far as those things go but it's very few milliamps and really 
won't even keep up with the radio draw in the summer.
