  Sounds like it.  Should be a red with black stripe wire/s going to it.
The fuse is a blade with two screw hooks/slots at 90 degrees to the 
length of the fuse.  Two screws hold it in the holder.  Fuse can be 
corroded in two, burned in two or bad connection under the screws.
