[Vwdiesel] Injection Pump on Ebay

There is a new, old stock, Bosch VE injection pump on ebay right now. 
Seller is asking $799. He says its for an '81-'84 Rabbit or Jetta.  I'm
no IP expert, so can somebody take a look at the picture of it and identify
the spring lever in the front center of the picture?  Its pointing downward.
Looks like it is just to the right and below the maximum fueling screw.
I've not noticed this lever on other pumps.
