[Vwdiesel] Injector socket size?

thanks for the quick reply, I have been experiencing a host of starting
issues, slow turning, many
cranks to start. I have some time to let the car sit and make some
assessments. Since i have them,
i will first change the glow plugs & relay. Next, i will do a compression
test. Also, I question whether
the timing may be advanced because, when i pull out the cold start handle
during cranking it slows the cranking though, if i start the car with the
lever in the stumbling quickly smoothes out when i pull the handle out.
Things i have done
Upgraded ground and positive cables running ground right to start bolt
Purchased new battery jan. 06
things i haven't done
change fuel filter ( i have owned this car 18 mo's)
glow plugs
compression test
ip timing
air filter
repaired/replaced block heater (i'm in chicago)
