as regular oil. It is a wife's tale. That is my take on it. If you just use
a good quality diesel labeled oil you don't really need to do a flush
cleaning. I found a ton of info at

Some interesting reading on that page.
If you really think you need to clean up the inside due to some one elses
abuse Auto-Rx really works and made a difference when I ran it and did an
oil analysis. It showed a difference to me which proved it worked. You can
read about it on that link above as well as

I'm in no way connected to Auto-Rx. Just a customer that does regular used
oil analysis on their vehicles and has seen a turn for the better after
running it in my vehicle.

Maybe this has been discussed before......
An unrelated Google search turned up mention of adding ATF to the engine
oil a few days prior to doing an oil change as a way to help clean out
sludge and deposits. I even found a well respected oil vendor who
suggested doing so. Has anyone tried adding ATF to their oil? Or is
this just another one of those urban legends?
