  Pretty typical.  Mine shows no noticeable smoke warm unless I really 
romp it, which I actually don't do much of in it, or if headlights are behind 

me.  Even then if I just let up a tad it's clear.  Don't accelerate with 
traffic 
as well with the pedal that light though.  It'll smoke you out if you're 
behind
it and I romp it cold though.  
  I may have to do exhaust like you did.  It's just hard to replace an 
exhaust 
system that looks perfectly good especially when it looks THAT good and 
is 20 years old too!  Gotta start working more to do that.  Need to replace 
the leaking windshield first.
