[Vwdiesel] foam in vents

How much more is there to remove the core? I would take it apart again 
to the point I had it as the second time is faster and smoother than 
the first.

  If it were me, I would replace the core when I got far
enough to get to the flap.

After that, removing the heater core is nothing.

I had to replace the foam on my Corrado this fall, and
changed the core too.  I just knew that it would blow
up in two weeks if I didn't.

I figured that replacing the core was simply insurance
against "Murphy".
