[Vwdiesel] rabbit redux

Over the Christmas holiday, I visited my dad and got to drive that 
rabbit that he'd driven down from Indiana in a previously told tale.  It 
was my first car however many years ago.  It was a genuine pleasure to 
drive it again after all that time.  Like putting on a pair of favourite 
shoes you'd forgotten about in the back of the closet.  Dad has done a 
lot of work on it to fix the issues that occured in its 8 year 
hibernation.  I can definitely tell the evolution in ride from it to my 
A4.  It was rougher than I remember and the cab is so much narrower 
feeling that I felt like I was driving a baby carriage, but that's what 
I always loved about that car:  it felt more like I was riding a good 
horse than driving a piece of machinery. 

I hope that in 2006, y'all will experience the same joie de Diesel.
