[Vwdiesel] Hybrids in Amerika ? ---( a major FRAUD ---IMHO ).

I completely agree with Svend.

Hybrids are an expensive joke. A VW diesel can best most, if not all,
hybrids in *overall* fuel economy. Sure, hybrids do have some emissions
benefits.

Hydrogen is another cruel joke. What is the cheapest source of hydrogen?
Natural gas. Making hydrogen with electricity is HUGELY inefficient.

Probably the best (and cheapest) current solutions to the energy problem
are....get this....CONSERVATION and EFFICIENCY. Yup. Get more MPG, use
Compact Fluorescent lights, ride public transporation, insulate your
house, and don't drive 2 blocks to the corner store.
