Well, I didn't have a garage, but I was able to get
the car up on the edge of a corner of the sidewalk so
I'd have some concrete.
A guy loaned me a VW engine hangar he'd made (copied
from Bentley manuals) which worked great to hang the
engine without having things underneath the car to get
in the way.
I also was able to take advantage of a couple really
nice days to get the job done. The temp here was
about 65 here on Saturday, which is very much
unseasonably high, but it sure didn't bother me! I
was afraid the new clutch would come in the first day
of a blizzard or something!
