[Vwdiesel] flickering alternator light

Sounds like bad / worn brushes... check V at battery while running and see
if it's jumping around.

Brushes are replaced easily - 2 screws on the back of the alternator hold
them in - come out as a unit and available at most FLAPS...

hey all
alt indicator LED on the dash is flickering
several days now - at first barely noticeable, now on more than off 
(still flickering) even at speed on highway
alt belt not audibly slipping

thoughts?
