Mine ('98 Jetta) are at over 200K but they should probably be replaced. I
think about 100K for a set of nozzles is probably a pretty safe interval,
but a lot depends on quality of fuel.
Kerma ( http://www.kermatdi.com/ ) is a good place to get better-than-Bosch
nozzles. You shouldn't have to replace the entire injector, just the nozzle.
They should be set up using specialized equipment after a nozzle change due
to the two-stage injection, but Kerma can coordinate that, I believe.
