Hi all, here is what I found out tonight. I used automatic transmission
oil and filled the stop solenoid cavity banjo fitting hole and fuel
line. I than loosened off the hard lines at the injectors. I turned the
engine over until the I saw some fuel leak from the ends, was not much
more seepage than flow. I than reprimed the the pump and fuel line,
topped off the fuel filter tightened all connections and attached a
clear tube to the tank return output into a container. Tried to start
the car and nothing. No fuel moved out of the pump thru clear tube.

So I figure I would yank the pump. As soon as I pulled the drive
pulley off the fuel just poured out of the shaft seal. I guess this
would have been severe enough to not allow my pump to draw fuel.
correct?y

If this is correct how is the safest way to remove it. I have a
bearing supplier nearby, anyone know the dimensions? if not I'll pull
it and bring it along.
